Stayed here for a night on the way to Sweden. Loved it! Nice modern room in the new annex. Good beds, excellent noise insulation, also towards the corridors which is nice. ||Roomy bathroom, excellent water pressure. Decent restaurant (Steak is excellent!!) |Only disappointment was the coffee which is using a JDE syrup system and that's vile!||We liked it so much we decided to stay again on the way back. Got another room in the annex which somehow seemed to miss something on the door, massive amount of light leaked into the room from the corridor and sound as well of course. ||breakfast was really, REALLY POOR! We got there at a little before 9am and they were out of almost anything. No boiled eggs, pancakes, hardly any yoghurt, no croissants or chocolate croissants, etc, etc... |There was one portly gentleman of middle age who spend most of his time sucking up to a few tradefair clients. One girl refilled drinks and cleared some tables (but not others). And that's a 23 euro breakfast!||I like the concept, I like the building but this breakfast service has moved this place from "yes, let's do that again" to "nah, might just as well go to a scandic or IBIS, this isn't worth it!!"

A modern and well-equipped business hotel with a welcoming atmosphere. The room was functional yet cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and well-maintained, with a consistent, modern design. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast exceeded our expectations – very generous, varied, and with plenty of healthy options. The location is slightly outside the center, but parking is readily available. The bathroom felt a bit sterile, but it was functional. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely stay again.

Albergo molto carino, con ampio parcheggio gratuito ed a pochi minuti in macchina dal centro cittadino. Le camere ampie e pulite, anche se con la moquette. Buono il ristorante con la cucina a vista ed ottimo il servizio. Molto buona e ricca anche la colazione. Personale molto gentile.

Very Disappointing Stay – Serious Decline in Standards

Our family has stayed at the Best Western Plus Odense Hotel several times over the years, but unfortunately, our most recent visit was by far the worst, and deeply disappointing in many respects.

When we checked into our first room, we were shocked by the lack of basic hygiene. The bathroom ceiling was covered with hair, awkwardly and visibly stuck across multiple surfaces, creating an unsettling first impression. The sink and shower drain were also clearly unclean, which made the space feel unsanitary and neglected.

We requested to move rooms, and this was accommodated, but the issues continued. Before leaving for the evening, we placed the “Please clean the room” sign on our door, expecting it to be serviced by the time we returned. However, when we came back late at night with our young son, exhausted and ready to sleep, we found the room untouched. No towels had been replaced, the room had not been cleaned, and we were left scrambling. I had to walk all the way to reception just to request clean towels, which should never happen at this level of hotel.

To add to the list of concerns, we noticed the bed linen had been placed upside down, another indication of careless housekeeping and a lack of attention to detail.

This stay fell far below what we expect from a Best Western Plus property, and far below what we have experienced here in the past. Cleanliness, attention to detail, and guest care are fundamental, and this visit failed on all three counts.

We hope management takes this feedback seriously, as it reflects an unacceptable decline in quality and service.

To be honest this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. For something this pricey being so outside of Odense you would expect a high quality hotel, but this one doesn’t even have the bare minimum. Yes the rooms are great, the beds are confortable and they can even accommodate for 3 beds in 1 room, and they can parking is magnificent. But that’s where it all ends. The breakfast is very lacking in options, you have either two types of eggs and bacon or pancakes/bread as main, and then carrots or cucumber. That’s it don’t be expecting many protein options. But the worst for last, they really try not to clean stuff up. I been here for some days and they haven’t changed the towels, haven’t added any shampoo/body wash and worst of all haven’t even cleaned the bathroom. We can see the hairs and stains that the bathroom has been collecting. And even if they change the towels they smell horrific. As an added bonus the toilet barely uses any water so it doesn’t flush completely, it hardly even flush a single piece of toilet paper and as a result the whole rooms smells bad. For the price I wouldn’t recommend this place they don’t do a good job at doing the bare minimum

Fint hotel til prisen, nok for lidt at vælge imellem til morgenmad, men det der var er fint. Fine værelser, meget rene og alt virkede. Der kunne dog godt være flere tv kanaler eks. Tv2 News.||God hjælp i receptionen, god bar med fint udvalg i øl og spiritus.||Gtrati kaffe og te.

Das Hotel Odense liegt außerhalb der Stadt, so dass ein ruhiger Aufenthalt garantiert ist. Der (kostenfreie) Parkplatz ist riesig und bietet für jedes Gästeauto Platz. Das Zimmer war gleichfalls meinen Wünschen entsprechend, ausreichend groß, sauber und gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Der Fahrstuhl im Nebengebäude war leider out of order. Es gibt im Foyer etliche Kaffeemaschinen zur freien Verwendung. Wobei, ich hab schon besseren Cappuccino getrunken. Das Dinner endete abrupt vor dem Dessert: Küchenschluss. An der Bar berechnete die offenbar nicht gut geschulte Mitarbeiterin jedes Glas Wein zu einem anderen Preis. Immerhin ist für Kreativität gesorgt. Alles in allem eine Note 2 für das Haus von mir.
