For some reason, as a Dane/western citizen, I never made the connection of the obvious transport across the ocean from Japan to Peru. However, ISSEI present you beautifully with an introduction to this very obviousness, whilst serving you incredible food from the Nikkei cuisine. Don’t miss out.

Прекрасный ресторан при отеле, который приятно удивил высоким уровнем обслуживания и атмосферой. Блюда подаются красиво, вкус действительно на высоте. Меню разнообразное, каждый найдёт что-то по вкусу. Есть удобная и чистая уборная, что добавляет комфорта. Отличное место для ужина или отдыха после насыщенного дня. Рекомендую!

The food was good, and service staff were nice and polite. However, the waiter who took my order misjudged and advised me to order too much food. I was dining alone and am not a huge person. I ordered the halibut ceviche and miso salmon - both yummy, though not particularly outstanding. The waiter then told me that the serving of both were small and that I should add on a side of chaufa rice to which i agreed as normally the waiter knows best (I feel like the best waiters normally advise you when you have over ordered, and this is the first time I was pushed to order more).

When the halibut ceviche and miso salmon came, they were both decently sized and as I expected (a plus point i guess, serving is not small). The chaufa rice, sort of a japanese fried rice, was of a rather large serving - can be taken as a main or a side if shared among 2 to 3 people. The chaufa rice was also a little salty for my liking. I could only eat about a quarter of the chaufa rice before being too full and i ended up packing the rice to go. The same waiter also did not seem too pleased when I packed the food to go (not sure what the dining practices here are) and refused his suggestions to order some dishes. This misjudgment or a push to over order by the waiter marred my dining experience here unfortunately, would have been a decent experience otherwise.

Issei è un ristorante fusion specializzato nella cucina Nikkei quindi un mix tra cucina peruviana e giapponese.

Si trova all'interno dello spettacolare Radisson Hotel e di fronte ai Giardini Tivoli quindi vi lascio solo immaginare la location di classe con una vista magnifica.

Partiamo dal servizio che è stato senza ombra di dubbio impeccabile.

Ma ciò che mi ha colpito di più è stato il Cibo e gli accostamenti dei sapori.

Ho testato il menu degustazione e sono rimasto letteralmente folgorato dalla bontà di ogni portata.

Prezzi alti in linea con la città di copenaghen!

Selten so gut gegessen wie hier! Preise schon im oberen Sektor angesiedelt, jedoch Preis-Leistung für Kopenhagen absolut gerechtfertigt! Gerne wieder

Came here with my partner for dinning week. 350 dkk for 5 course menu. I had vegetarian and my bf meat option. Service was good, bet very long waiting time between meals. Although both, vegetarian and meat options cost the same, vegetarian menu eas very lacking in nutrition (basically just veggies, with no protein or healthy fats). Also resource expense wise meat option was better.

Rigtig dejlig oplevelse med skøn mad og sød betjening. Kødet smagte fantastisk! Det samme gjorde desserten! Laksen kunne dog godt have smagt af mere, og vinmenuen var ikke noget specielt. Tjenerne var søde og gode til at fortælle hvad vi fik undervejs, dog en af dem med tyggegummi i munden. Men vi havde en bestemt skøn aften, kan varmt anbefales!

Unforgettable Experience at Issei!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Issei, both for a long omakase dinner and their special Christmas Dinner. From the moment we walked in, the warmth and hospitality of the staff were immediately apparent. The waiters and kitchen staff were very helpful and provided an excellent service.

The food was amazing. Each dish was packed with flavor. The ambiance added to the overall experience with its cozy feel. True Hygge! The cocktails were very unique and an experience of their own. We are particularly thankful to the kind kitchen staff during the Christmas Dinner.

The only wish we left with was for more space—not just physically, but gastronomically, as we wanted to savor even more of their delicious food! We totally recommend Issei for nice food and cozy atmosphere and location in the center of Copenhagen.
