Excellent place. We went for the afternoon tea with our toddler and baby. Personnel was very welcoming and adorable.
Food was amazing. All the doughs had a lot of texture and tasty. Even the simple yellow rice was stellar with tastes of kaffir.
Big thumbs up for staff friendliness and child welcoming.

Singaporean/french group trying Sayang for the first time.

We ordered the shared platter (pic), bakso, both their nasi dishes (spicy fish and rendang). Must add that their sambal is the real deal - authentic, spicy, salty.

Had a little chat with the owner, love that the restaurant is small, has a kampung vibe (homey, hygge). The staff aren’t stiff, and are very keen to engage.

Far more reasonable prices than Indo restaurants in the city, and much more authentic flavours.

Looking forward to go back and try other things on their menu.

I visited this restaurant for a lunch.
The place is lovely, clean, and welcoming.
The food is delicious and well prepared, and the service is excellent.

I would recommend the bakso, I really enjoyed it.

The staff were friendly and helpful.
There is a restroom, which was clean and easily accessible.

I would definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely tremendous food. Such a taste variety and I see that 99% of the reviews have the same opinion as ours (my wife and I). I must admit that I don't understand how this restaurant can get bad reviews. The tastes, the variety and the introduction and explanation of the food by the waitress was just spot on. What a spectacular taste variety. I will most definitely recommend this place.

Blød atmosfære og blød musik. Så lækker mad. Velafstemte smage. Fra stærk til syrligt og sødt på en tallerken. Få en skøn mad oplevelse med indonesisk/balinesisk mad på Sayang. Veganske muligheder. Billede af vegansk saté. Vi brugte 169 kr pr person på mad og 299 kr på en flaske kinpin rødvin der er blød og velsmagende til retternes komplekse smage og 25 kr på en flaske vand.

If you're in the mood for flavorful Indonesian food, give this restaurant a try. They just opened in March of 2025 and are still trying to find their feet, but the food they serve is delicious and they are warm and welcoming.

We have tried their Bakso, Soto Ayam, Laksa Betawi, and their Sayang Jajanan Pasar snack sampler. Honestly would go back again.
