So good that I visited it twice, and would have gone back again if time permitted.
Fantastic location. I definitely recommend sitting outside if weather permits.
Staff were friendly and excellent with service.
Food came rather quickly, and was very tasty.
Soda - a large is indeed a large! Loved it!
I would definitely recommend this place!

Amazing little place!!! Best breakfast I've had all holiday; we got the B.E.C. Sandwich and chicken and waffles. Both exceptional!

The ladies serving were so lovely and smiley, the whole place felt like a big hug!

I wish i had time to go again!!!

You could assume from the location that this would be one of those tourist traps, since it’s right in a nice square. But the food is great, the service is fast and friendly, so there’s really no downside here. Highly recommended.

Midwestern diner is a really nice, friendly, American themed restaurant.

The service was fantastic, the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was nice, we went with a burger, chicken salad, and 3 kids meals.
My only comment on the food is that the kids meals could/should come with some for of vegetables on the side such as sweetcorn but the food itself was nice.

When we visited it was quite quiet so can’t really comment on atmosphere however there plenty of variety for seating, booths, tables and outdoor seating available.

Make sure you try a milkshake, they’re one of the nicest I’ve had!

Pricing was as you’d expect for Copenhagen, restaurant is a short walk from the Metro.

For what it was, it was ok. I think if you are craving for some american style restaurant, you can't go wrong.

The milkshake/freakshake was good and also filled with lots of additional sweets. The burger looked better than it tasted, but it wasn't bad just bland. The mac & cheese I liked, but I have no comparison counter part here.

The staff, while super friendly and chatty, seemed a bit unhelpful for some situations. Not holding the door open for a family with kids wagon was a strange sight.

Still, the atmosphere was good, but it's best to paint one's own picture.

After a long walk, we were quite hungry and figured you can't go wrong with a burger, so we decided to stop by the Midwestern Restaurant. The waitress was friendly, but a bit overbearing, constantly coming to our table, which became a bit bothersome.

When we ordered, we specifically mentioned that the meat needed to be well done because I’m pregnant, but unfortunately, this wasn’t followed. That was quite disappointing, as we had hoped for more attention to detail in such a situation.

Additionally, the price was fairly high, which might be attributed to the big city living. Overall, the experience was okay but not entirely satisfying.

Dejlig mad. Kunne godt have været lidt varmere. Fik eggs benidict royal og m bacon. French toast og ristet toast.
God kaffe og super dejlig betjening.

As an America lover visiting Copenhagen, this place totally hit the spot! 🇺🇸🍔 The burgers were super nice — juicy, flavorful, and exactly what I’d expect in america. The coleslaw was absolutely delicous, with that real american taste. you just don’t find everywhere in Europe.

And let me tell you, the drinks also come in americans sized cups — finally! 🙌 No tiny sips here. The whole place had a true American diner vibe — from the booths to the music. It honestly felt like stepping into a little slice of america that we love.

Highly recommend if you're craving authentic American comfort food in Denmark!
