Faaaaaantastisch! Wat een beleving. Zoveel indrukken. Zoveel smaken! 5,5u duurde uiteindelijk allemaal bij elkaar. Enorm vriendelijk personeel. De chef zelf komt ook aan je tafel nog een gerecht toelichten. Achter elk gerecht zit een verhaal. Soms mooi weergegeven soms , laten we zeggen , ‘apart’. Voor dit restaurant kom je dus speciaal alleen al naar Kopenhagen. De foto’s zijn maar een impressie en kunnen niet echt laten zien wat het geheel met je doet.
En uh ja het is duur en ze zijn zodra de boekingsite opengaat vrij snel uitverkocht.

Tak for en vidunderlig og uforglemmelig aften. Jeg havde fornøjelsen at besøge Alchemist på min fødselsdag og må blot erkende, at jeg aldrig vil glemme min 29 års fødselsdag. Tak for en kæmpe madoplevelse, show, flotte fortællinger og fantastisk service. Det her skal absolut opleves.

Obviously very unique experience. Although it's quite expensive but it does worth the money. It is not only about the food while part of the dishes not really about being tasty but some kind of the statement.
All around they have an amazing cocktails and wine list.
In some of the dishes the chef combines successfully great taste with the statement, in some of them the taste wasnt the issue.
Bottom line- highly recommended experience

Premessa: se non sei pronto a "rischiare", meglio scegliere un altro ristorante. Ma se scegli di investire il tuo denaro e il tuo tempo (il nostro viaggio è durato ben 6 ore!) per venire in questo posto, sei probabilmente pronto a farti travolgere da quest'esperienza fuori dall'ordinario. È difficile descrivere tutto ciò che questo viaggio comporta, ma se a una settimana dalla nostra "avventura" ne parliamo ancora, probabilmente un segno è stato lasciato. L'ambiente ti lascia a bocca aperta, il personale ha quella marcia in più e rappresenta la ciliegina sulla torta. È evidente che i ragazzi lavorano con passione e sono felici di essere parte del team. Lo chef di un'umiltà esemplare. Ho dato 4* e non 5 al cibo, perché non tutti i piatti sono davvero buoni. Alcuni "disturbano", altri ti lasciano pensare, prima di essere assaggiati, ma credo che sia proprio questa l'intenzione dello chef. Se fossi un pollo, quanto ti piacerebbe "vivere" in gabbie sovraffollate? Se fossi un pesce, quanto ti piacerebbe finire in un sacchetto di plastica? Ma non svelo altro...la maggior parte dei piatti un'esplosione di gusto e consistenze da urlo. Da provare, almeno una volta nella vita!

Chef Rasmus Munk and his team are true visionaries. Dishes are not only flawlessly executed but often thought-provoking, blurring the lines between performance art and fine dining. Whether it's a course inspired by climate change or an edible sculpture with an ethical message, every bite tells a story.
The immersive dome, the ever-evolving visuals, and the interplay of light, sound, and scent add to the dreamlike quality of the evening. Service is impeccable—attentive yet relaxed, knowledgeable without being overbearing.
Alchemist is not for the faint of heart, nor for those seeking a traditional dinner. But for those willing to surrender to the unknown, it's a transcendent experience that leaves a lasting impression.
A meal here is more than dinner—it's a conversation, a spectacle, and a masterpiece.

Calling Alchemist a "restaurant" feels like a wild understatement. For a few hours, we were completely immersed in a world of beautiful madness and we simply didn't want it to end. The food, which ranged from "simple but good" to "mindblowingly creative and delicious", was only part of the story. It’s the way each dish connected with the powerful visuals and ideas, the art, the music and the flawless service (shoutout to our amazing server... Sadly don't remember her name but she's from Mongolia). Such a privilege to have experienced Chef Rasmus Munk's vision firsthand and I hope to be able to come back one day!

The best dining (and hospitality) experience I've ever had. The dishes range from innovative spins on classic flavors from around the world to avant-garde art bites meant to challenge the way you think about what we eat and why we eat it. Provocative, challenging, educational, and delicious. The many changes in setting (the meal is served across five rooms) built a huge sense of anticipation across the night, and the multi-sensory experience of the main dining room is almost overwhelming at times.

Above all, though, the impression I will be left with is how incredible the service at Alchemist is. Every dish was presented with a story to help contextualize our experience, and the beverage pairings (both wine and non-wine) were unreal. Service was attentive, fluid, and highly flexible. Our sommelier, Paolo, was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and able to create an experience that felt special and personalized to us as guests. The care that goes into the customer experience is evident across all team members. Could not recommend the Alchemist highly enough.
